Hello Church Family,
God is opening πͺ doors for us to share His β€οΈ love in places where hope is often forgotten β and we want YOU to be part of it! π
If youβd like to serve with our Prison Ministry at Buster Cole State Jail, the Texas Department of Criminal Justice (TDCJ) requires all volunteers to attend a β±οΈ four-hour training.
This upcoming training will be hosted at Hutchins State Jail β but we will continue serving at Buster Cole State Jail after you are approved.
Great news: This is a walk-in training β no need to send your information in advance!

β’ π Location: ποΈ Hutchins State Jail
β’ π Date: Tuesday, October 14, 2025
β’ β° Time: 6:00 PM β 10:00 PM
β’ π ARRIVAL: Please arrive at the BACK GATE of the prison by 5:30 PM β VERY IMPORTANT for group check-in.

π Training Day Instructions
β’ β Bring inside: Only your πͺͺ ID and π keys.
β’ π« Leave in your vehicle: π± phones, π wallets, and β smartwatches.
π‘ Helpful Tip: It will be great if volunteers can remember their Driverβs License number β at least the last 4 digits β for sign-in.

π After Training β Important!
After your training, TDCJ approval takes about 4β6 weeks.
At that time, please call and email TDCJ Volunteer Services to check your status:

Your service at Buster Cole State Jail can only begin once your approval is confirmed.

Starting January 2026, we will move to Saturday jail visits β serving the Buster Cole prison campus every single week ππ.
We will organize multiple volunteer teams π€ so everyone can serve effectively and consistently.
